Pinnacle Award		International Service Award
	Dr. Thomas P. Lecky Jamaica Animal geneticist, for developing improved breeds of cattle including the Jamaica Hope dairy cattle, the Jamaica Reds, Jamaica Blues and Jamaica Brahman.		Martin Cooper USA Electrical engineer, who conceived the first portable cellular phone in 1973 and led the 10-year process of bringing it to market.
	Dr. John A. Ewen Jamaica Chemist, who pioneered scientific discoveries and practical technological advances that have led to the development of the modern methods for the synthesis of polyolefin plastics. Paul Nehru Tennasse		Dr. Compton Bourne Guyana Economist and former Principal of the St. Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies. He played a major role in the preparation of the UWI Strategic Development Programme for Science and Technology and Distance Education. He is currently President of the Caribbean Development Bank.
	Professor Ramsey Saunders Trinidad and Tobago Physicist, is Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the St. Augustine Campus, University of the West Indies. He is recognized internationally for his contributions in the fields of Medical Physics and Bioengineering, Material Science and Environmental Physics.
